Exciting part first, around 4:30 my engine arrived. And hour later the packaging foam was cut away and she was lifted up. Super exciting! Tomorrow hopefully she will be hanging off the front of my plane.
This was another day of lost time… Annual physical/BasicMed exam, cancel oil cooler order, pay for new oil cooler, call FAA about registration (they are backlogged nearly 80 days – fuck me), deal with selling the wife’s old car, help another RV builder put on his engine cowling, and another drive to Denver and back. You get the picture, not a lot done today. But I did get the pilot lower panel switch wires labeled (no clue why I didn’t do this when I was putting on the connectors) and I adjusted the edges of the baggage door followed by sanding/priming its edges.
