Whew this was a long day. Started with terminating the CHT and EGT wires in the Garmin GEA24 connector. Then moved on to terminating the other end. Turn on the electricity


I’m not sure why I put off the Elevator trim tabs for so long but hey they are done now. Riveting, proseal, more riveting. Oh and blind riveting. Once the proseal cures I’ll slide in the hinge pins. The big excitement of the day was finishing up the electrical wiring. I put in the remaining instruments and flips the switch.…

Making progress


It might not look like it but today was a good day with good progress. Two of the three power connectors on the VPX are wired, one of the alterantor voltage regulators is wired, the fuel pump is wired, and the lower wires are organized. Yep, wiring doesn’t look like a lot but it sure takes time.

More jumping around today, the seat back brackets are cut and deburred. Next week when my daughter visits we should be able to get the rear seats finished up giving her something she can point to and say “I did that!” Most of the day was on wiring.
